Singer, songwriter and actress Lady Gaga – whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta – has been astounding fans for more than a decade now. Made infamous by her ‘meat dress’ which she wore to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards and beloved by many after her stellar performance next to Bradley Cooper in A Star Is Born, there’s more to Lady Gaga than meets the eye.
A Born Musician
While most musicians were taught how to play their particular musical instrument – often at an incredibly early age – Lady Gaga taught herself to play the piano at the tender age of four. By the time that she was 13, she had begun to compose songs. Before she hit it big as a singer, she composed songs for Britney Spears, The Pussycat Dolls as well as Jennifer Lopez.
Famous Friends
Well, we’re not sure if they were friends per se, but Lady Gaga did go to school with former-BFFs-and-now friends Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie. They all went to the Convent of Sacred Heart in New York City.

A Good Heart
Lady Gaga organised a number of performances as a tribute to the many health-care workers battling Covid-19. She did this in partnership with the World Health Organization and the Global Citizen charity.
